NASA Announced last week that the Webb Space Telescope will observe the center of the Milky Way Galaxy while the Event Horizon Telescope Collaboration takes data that will image the event horizon of the black hole at the center of our galaxy.
During it's first year in space, #JWST will look for flares emitted from Sgr A* and report those events to the collaboration while they observe to help process their data.
