Been borderline obsessed with the topic of aliens for about two years. Watched tons of documentaries, read many articles and did tons of research into different cases and sightings. For a couple of months now though, I have had to stop looking into and consuming UFO/alien media, as it me made me too uncomfortable and paranoid, sometimes it makes sleeping at night difficult.
I suffer with a bit of psychosis and have been for most of this year, meaning I sometimes become delusional. Most of my delusions are about aliens, that they are watching me, reading my thoughts/putting thoughts into my head, they are going to abduct me, the people around me are reptiles etc. Its even hard for me go outside at night and look up in the sky, my head tells me I'm more likely to get abducted. I know its absurd.
I'm sad that I feel like I have to drop this fascination of mine for my own mental health, I just cant comprehend that there are these beings everywhere and we have no idea what they want, where they are or what they are capable of as well as their intentions.
Does anyone else feel something similar to this?
