A deranged couple, David and Doris Young, decided to take a huge group of over 100 students and 17 teachers hostage with an improvised bomb. They demanded a ransom of $2 million for each student.


However, Doris accidentally activated the bomb by raising her hand while the detonation mechanism was attached to her wrist. The chaos from the resulting blast, which injured Doris, gave the civilians a chance to flee.


As his hostage plan fell apart, David shot Doris and then was found dead of a self-inflicted wound in the bathroom. Every single teacher and student survived, though some of the kids and teachers suffered injuries from the blast and smoke inhalation.


Multiple students allegedly reported sightings of angels lingering over the building, giving them the guidance and protection to survive.
