I've had actual experiences of missing time and encounters throughout my life. I just woke up from a very odd dream I just thought was interesting.
In the dream I was basically in the middle of nowhere with trees all around. A guy in scrubs, who told me he was my doctor, told me to come to him. For some reason I just went along with it. He told me to open my mouth, and shined a light at me. He told me to spin clockwise, and counterclockwise. He then told me to rotate my eyes with the same movements. Then he got some instrument and scraped some stuff out of my mouth. He muttered something like my mental activity according to my movements was alright, and I was going to be OK, and I could run along. I was kind of confused and started asking him what was going on. He then took out a handsaw and said, "this is what doctors use right? You better run along now before we use this one!". That's when I woke up with my mouth fully opened. I never sleep like that. I always sleep inhaling through my nose. I could tell I was breathing like that for a while because my mouth was totally dried out. Anyways, the dream just gave me some serious heeby jeebes. Almost seemed like some kind of abduction experience.
