Aliens may never publicize themselves, they really only have to once humanity can explore planets nearby, potentially visiting theirs.

It’ll be, aliens whizzing right by us as volcanoes, earthquakes, and climate change destroy us…

Or maybe a UAP lands in a city… But most seem to be drones.
