Probably aliens will make fun of us if we somehow contacted them

Hey, don't you think that if we somehow encountered aliens (let's take them as advanced civilizations only)

The aliens ask if you know everything (which means everything) about your home planet (which for us is earth, just clearing for some people) and offcource we don't know everything about our home planet rather, not even close to it, wouldn't the aliens laugh at us?

I mean there are so many mysteries about our own planet and we are no where near to understanding all of them (im not saying about the formation of earth and other related stuff)

I mean shouldnt we focus more on solving first earth mysteries rather than solving mystries outside earth?
