Hot take on broadcasting our location to potential alien life:

I say theres nothing to fear in doing it because:

1) We need help managing our own planet's resources and 2) There's a good chance we're screwing ourselves into extinction anyway, so if the aliens we encounter are hostile, it was worth the shot.
