If and when an alien Invasion occurs, should we/I go underground, sewers, forest?… What’s your plan?

Good example when I was younger my cousins and I were watching a show called Falling Skies, the aliens invade, and control humans, as slaves or something…

Is a bunker a good idea? Something like the one in Cloverfield Lane 2.
