I have just published my first book entitled Living Universe. It explores astrobiology, discusses concepts such as the Fermi Paradox and Drake Equation, and takes a skeptical approach on the topic of aliens in popular speculation

Is life out there in the vast and expanding universe? The question is one of the greatest in astrobiology. NASA and other organizations rush to answer it in the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (and extraterrestrial life in general), and theories abound. Our quest for knowledge and our curiosity as humans are ideologies and motives that never end, and through research, speculation, and even skepticism, an answer to the age-old question may be discovered in the near future.
