Think about it, what does the human race offer that aliens would allow us to dominate this planet vs other animals, hybrids, or other genetically engineered animals?

Religion or set of rules - where respect must be given to us according to their belief system

Culture - We are cultural entertainment. Our music, art, movies, etc are valuable and for export to their world or as a tourist attraction.

Inventions - we invent tons of stuff and have a large population for a species capable of continuous innovation. Perhaps we have tons of inventions they never considered. I heard that radar can knock out ufos and also that they had no concept of this. Plausible as with other odd inventions.

Dna - Our dna is valuable directly or as a playground for experimentation. Could include bio roducts of our body like hormones or things that get them high.
I didn’t list food because it seems unlikely based on descriptions of them being fragile vs beefy and not requiring a lot of protein. If we were a delicacy I somehow doubt this would overweigh the benefits of animals that use less resources and also taste good. Unless we’re crack cocaine to them.
