There are many millionaires and foundations in the world that could be used to finance such an expedition.
There are strange caves and objects on maps of Antarctica that have left a long trail in the snow. We also have many commercial satellites with high resolution cameras that could study this in more detail.
Such expeditions would confirm or disprove speculation or exploitation of conspiracy theories. A good documentary film could also be made.
