The final version of the FY 2023 National Defense Authorization Act (H.R. 7776) was released late on December 6, 2022. I expect this legislation to become law by the end of December. It contains 33 pages of new legislation pertaining to what the government will now be calling "unidentified anomalous phenomena." One new provision would establish a system to allow "whistleblowers" to report on purported secret UAP projects to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) and to the congressional armed services and intelligence committees. Another provision would mandate a comprehensive study of government archives on UAP back to January 1, 1945.
