What's scary are the encounters where an ET says their world was destroyed (so they must have found a different planet?) destroyed by global warming. They are warning us that the same can happen here. I'd say we're well on the way for that.
Then there are the ones who say they can no longer reproduce due to genetic manipulation, and they come here to get our genetic material.
