My grandfather was a pilot in WW2 and, from what I've been told, then went to work for Sperry and Grumman. I was looking through his belongings recently and came upon a NASA nameplate of his that says "NPRO/NASA" with the nasa logo on one side and the lunar module on the other. He also had a Grumman lunar module 3 poster with many signatures on it, including his. Can anyone tell me what NPRO means? I can't find anything on it using a search. I'm hoping to find out what his role might have been in the space program. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
