Earlier this week, while reading a space-related website, I found a (relatively old) section on biological advanced life support that comes closer to closing the loop, and speculation on ways that may work. Within that page, it was mentioned that the BIO-Plex facility in NASA's Johnson Space Center would later provide a model for the system and give useful information regarding what organisms were better suited to systems such as this. I have searched for more information on it, but cannot find anything other than pictures of the outside of the building and old papers describing what the plans for the facility were and one book which briefly mentioned it. Does anyone by any chance know if there is a page or paper accessible online from NASA or another reputable source which tells in depth the results of BIO-Plex and more information in general about it?
