On June 5th an EUV darkening was observed in SDO/AIA 193 imagery beginning at 19:12 UTC just southeast of Region 2829. An associated narrow CME was observed off the east limb in SOHO/LASCO C2 imagery. Initial analysis suggests that the CME is directed off the Sun-Earth line.

Farside Sunspots
NASA's STEREO-A spacecraft is monitoring a bright UV hotspot on the farside of the sun, here. It could be a significant sunspot group. If so, we will see its dark cores rotating over the sun's southeastern limb in a few days.
