What if aliens ARE going to live on this planet with us and eventually plan to merge their species with ours. Ensuring survival of their people and ours. It’s a foolproof method to take over planets without total societal meltdown and end of the world scenarios kick in. That just damages the planet they plan on owning. Oh and we are not a mess tier species without the ability to change course.
