Hi all,
I'm looking for some help finding a 3D file of the Apollo Translation Control Handle (the T-shaped one), with the goal of 3D printing it.
I've on seen a 3D file of the Rotational Control Handle online, but not the translation handle. I found the 3D scan of the Apollo 11 CM that the Smithsonian did but I'm having a lot of trouble extracting the handle from the scan. Depending on which file I use, either the part comes out at an extremely low resolution unsuitable for printing or only about half of the handle comes out and I'm having a lot of trouble mirroring the handle and filling in the missing parts.
Is there anyone who can help me find 3d geometry for this part or is willing to help me align and fix the holes in what I've been able to pull together on my own? Does anybody have a replica and is willing to take a few photos so I can do some photogrammetry? Is there anyone from NASA on this Reddit that has one in a box somewhere and can throw it on a 3D scanner?
