If they had been here, agencies like NASA would know.
If agencies know, then they don’t benefit from hiding it from us.
Everyone would be clamoring to be the ones to claim first contact.
If they are here, and there is a secret being kept, then they must not pose a danger, as even corrupt governments need a populace to survive.
