I live in Central Indiana, I just got done getting ready for school today and I was leaving my house. As I was walking down our walkway from our porch, I saw a round, bright, white light. I was curious about it instantly because I hadn’t seen a star in the sky there before, or one that big. It was slightly bigger than what your normal star looks like. I stopped moving because I noticed it started moving. It sort of moved upward, then downward, and then it started moving roughly Northwest.
I was looking at it for about half a minute until I tried getting a star app on my phone to ID it. When I looked up, it literally vanished. I was one my phone for maybe five seconds at most. I couldn’t find it. I tried looking through the clouds, hoping to see the light it gives off, but I couldn’t find it.
I walked a few steps down the sidewalk next to our road and I looked straight up while trying to find it. When I looked straight up, I saw a light through the clouds. A light like when you see the moon through the clouds, but this wasn’t the moon, and it gave off a smaller light than the moon does. It stayed at that spot for about a minute until it slowly disappeared, like it faded out.
I haven’t seen it since. This probably at 7:15.
