Did you know? Every question that you ask, such as “should I eat a bag of chips today?” or “which university should I apply to?” are gateways to advancing your knowledge. These questions birth an array of follow-up questions, providing you with a chance to discover your true passion. However, we often forget how important questioning is and end up following the crowd’s ideas and our set routines, merely becoming a cog in the machine of society.
My life and the world were all developed by questions, both personal and global. Great people of their era, such as Thomas Edison and Alexander Fleming, achieved their success by questioning the small details around them. Through this TED talk, I wish to show you all the power of the question mark and challenge you to pay attention to the small details of your life and question them. Who knows? You might even find your Eureka moment this way! Student This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
